It's most likely always been an issue, but as of late, I've been noticing an unhealthy rise in the amount of ranting over the choices in Daily Deviations. Not only is it annoying and childish, it is debasing to all artwork and disrespectful to the artist. You don't have to like or agree with everything you see in the Daily Deviations, but going on an all out attack as to why you believe it isn't 'art' is totally unacceptable. That's why I made this stamp. I don't always like what I see in that channel, but you know what? I am not offended or even the slightest angry about it either. A Daily Deviation is not the Nobel Prize. It is a recognition of an artwork that is chosen to be featured to the entire community.

tsk tsk *wags finger* we don't have to like everything we see, but we certainly can be nice to the artists who create the work. I've seen some good obscure artists get totally torn apart by comments made on a DD they received.

It's not like I'm bad mouthing the artists, I'm griping at the fools who are making it a DD.
There's always something POPULAR as a DD when it should be the stuff that took extreme effort.
