Welp, the summer is winding down finally over in my neck of the woods. My job as an art teacher at a summer day camp will be completed next week and I will once again have an unspecified amount of time where I will not be working after that (I've been going through this for how long now ) Anyways, I completed the #100DayProject just under two weeks ago (images will be posted shortly, just gotta get em mass uploaded into sta.sh first). I will be showing a triptych in the 8th annual ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, MI in the next few weeks, and I will be showing a painting from the graduate thesis at Ashland University in Ohio around that same time. In the whole process of resettling myself (I moved back in with my mother and sisters in May) I finally made the decision to launch a Patreon. Honestly, I should have begun it much sooner, but I had reservations about how people perceive crowdfunding and the like. Thankfully I've gotten over those feelings!
Many of you already know how it works, but for those of you who do not here's the skinny: Patreon is a website that helps content creators of many platforms get funding. Unlike the run of the mill crowdsourcing like gofundme or kickstarter the funding is ongoing based on monthly or weekly payouts from supporters (called "patrons").
